Lightwave Analytics (LWA) is a WOSB/VOSB-certified engineering firm providing specialized expertise in optical communications for mission-critical government systems. Our work spans satellite laser communications, optical ground stations, and high-reliability terrestrial fiber networks, supporting national security and defense programs.
Since 2017, we have supported federal agencies by delivering engineering analysis, system modeling, and technical advisory services that ensure optical communication architectures perform under real-world operational conditions. Our approach integrates optical physics, system engineering, and acquisition insight to help program teams validate designs, reduce risk, and make informed technical decisions.
Led by over 25 years of experience in optical telecommunications, Lightwave Analytics brings a proven track record supporting the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and related mission environments, with a focus on performance, reliability, and mission assurance.

Our Thesis
The government possesses substantial in-house capabilities, however the rapid advancement and complexity of laser communication technologies is outpacing internal training and development cycles. Consequently, there is a critical need for specialized technical expertise in areas such as:

This shift necessitates specialized technical expertise that may not be fully available within the current government workforce.
